Dr Brendan Treloar

Dr Treloar thrives for a holistic approach to health and wellbeing for his patients. His special interests include gut health, travel medicine, men’s health, women’s health, mental health, sexual and LGBTIQ+ health, dermatology, nutrition, children & adolescent medicine, sports & exercise medicine, immunology and preventative health.

Dr Treloar graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine. He completed his residency training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. He held postgraduate training positions at Westmead Children’s Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, The Tweed Hospital and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. He also completed an overseas medical elective at a Family Medicine & Sports Medicine clinic in Vancouver, Canada.

Brendan has a passion for teaching medical students and holds an academic position of Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW for St Vincent’s Clinical School. He was also selected as a Rural Australia Medical Undergraduate scholar during his medical studies. Dr Treloar has worked as a Sports Medic for multiple sporting events in Sydney, including NSW Independent Sporting Association finals, State Netball Championships, and Scots College rugby. He has also served in the Royal Australian Air Force.

In his personal life, he has a passion for exercise, outdoors, camping, water sports, skiing and travelling.
