Dr Claudia Lee takes a highly personalised approach to medicine. Her aim with all patients is to heal the patient to help them achieve their life goals, not just cure diseases. She will work through the patients’ most important health concerns and tailor a specific long-term treatment program to achieve and maintain best energy, mood, vitality and well-being. Dr Lee also has considerable experience within the field of Functional and Integrative Health, especially in the field of gut medicine, and it’s relation to multiple other illness including infectious and autoimmune conditions. Another area of specialty is Women’s, Baby and Childhood Health, with a focus on Fertility, Antenatal Shared Care and perimenopausal Medicine. Previously a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, she has also co-authored a book, The Mystery Gut with Professor Kerryn Phelps and Jaime Rose Chambers. She provides expert opinions for multiple publications and has been the attending doctor on several TV shows including, Survivor USA, and Australia’s Next Top Model, and a leader for adventure medicine climbing the world’s highest peaks to raise money for medical research.

Inside and outside work of work, Dr Lee travels to exotic locations to experience diverse medicine and food. She is also a member of Tamarama Surf Lifesaving Club and enjoys climbing mountains, cycling, gathering with family and friends and jumping in the ocean.
