Jo Dawson

Physiotherapist

Jo is an experienced Physiotherapist with more than 10 years of clinical experience across both the public and private healthcare sectors. Having worked in hospitals and private practice clinics throughout Australia and the UK, she provides evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative recovery.

In addition to physiotherapy, Jo is a qualified Pilates instructor in both mat and reformer Pilates and has training in health coaching. She is passionate about helping people move with greater confidence, freedom, and strength, whether in the physiotherapy clinic or the Pilates studio. Jo believes that improving movement is about more than recovering from injury—it is about maintaining mobility, independence, and quality of life for years to come.

Jo has a particular interest in supporting women through menopause, improving bone health, and helping those who are finding it difficult to prioritise exercise. She also enjoys working with older adults, including those requiring aged care and dementia-focused rehabilitation, as well as individuals recovering from surgery or returning to sport. Her personalised approach combines hands-on treatment, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation, and education to help patients achieve sustainable outcomes.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys staying active through running, hiking, Pilates, and Oztag. She also loves exploring mountains and wilderness areas whenever she has the opportunity to travel. Jo believes everyone deserves to feel confident in their body and capable of participating in the activities that matter most to them.
